New Seasonal Cocktails
We are adding three new seasonal cocktails to our roster. Our Beverage Manager, Tom Sierra, came up with cocktails that are far from average. Mixing a variety of fall and winter flavors into every sip.
The first one is what we like to call “A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing“. After helping Brooklyn Brewery with a summer party at Morgan’s on Fulton. Tom had the idea to create a drink using their Black Ops Stout. Rich, fluffy dark body. Chocolate, coffee flavors with a trace of vanilla-like bourbon. Aged in bourbon barrels. Fermented with champagne yeast. If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one of these we suggest you drink wisely. Shaken with black strap rum, demerara syrup and an egg. It’s the perfect cocktail to sip on around the raging fireplace. We guarantee it will keep you warm!
Next up on the list is the “ Sea Legs” cocktail. The Sea Legs is a gin cocktail mixed with fresh cucumber puree, squeezed lime juice and a smoking rosemary sprig. Green chartreuse is the secret ingredient in this drink. Made up of 130 different plants. We love it for its natural green color. And powerful yet unique flavors.
Last up on the new cocktail list is our “Latin Lingo“ aka Mole Manhattan. Served neat or on the rocks. We are a big fan of this drink. It’s even incorporating a local Chicago product, the Amargo De Chile by CH Distillery. They have a great restaurant and distillery right downtown Chicago – it’s a great spot to try a variety of culinary cocktails and take a tour of their distillery. The Latin Lingo wouldn’t be complete with out a trace of Mexican chocolate topped off with a luxardo cheery and hickory smoked bacon.
Thank you Tablescapes Chicago Party Rentals for the glassware.
Cheers!
