Celebrating Beyond Borders

Immigration borders, Syrian Borders, Israeli Borders, Ebola Borders…much conversation about borders in the news these days. Happily, food travels without passport and transcends borders. We’re staying put and getting creative with transporting hints of the spice market: saffron, cinnamon, fresh mint, the heady fragrance of rose, lemon and oregano. The upcoming holiday season calendar shows Entertaining Company jumping borders, continents and over oceans. We’re celebrating a sense of adventure and  diversity without ever leaving our city suburban borders.

Here’s a sneak peak of a few destinations we’re “going ‘” with our clients in the coming weeks:

A Trip to the Grand Bazaar for “Feztival”

EC costumed waiters will welcome guests and offer Turkish Delight Martinis of Vodka, Rose Syrup, White Crème de Cacao and Rose. Hors d’oeuvres perfumed with the fragrance of cinnamon and cumin will signal the Feztivities have begun leading to a Turkish Soup, Mezze and Bread Bar (“hello, vegetarians”) followed by full scale opulent Turkish buffet festooned with layered cinnamon, blue, gold and turquoise linens and offering honeyed salmon to sweet red pepper paste kebabs, and rice pilaf of chickpeas, lentils, caramelized apricots and browned onions. Dessert comes with a surprise!


Southeast Asian Cocktail Party

Cocktail hour will kick off with Indian Style Jalapeno Infused Mojitos leading to a profusion of small eclectic plates featuring Lamb Sliders, Bhelpuri in Savory Edible Cone, Grilled Spiced Lamb Chops, Tofu Kathi Rolls, through Chilled Carrot Tapioca Milkshakes with hints of Cardamom and Saffron. We’re planning waves and waves of small bite mobile food served to guests wherever they may be~ lounge furniture to dance floor.


A Classic British Holiday

We will be entertaining guests of our retailer with one bite “Fish and Chips” EC style, that is, sea bass, mini purple and red waffle chips and tartar sauce plus  Mini Shepherd Pies with Parsnip Puree as well as Beef Tenderloin in Mini Yorkshire Puddings with Whipped Horseradish Dollup.  Petit sweets will follow, all hand passed, allowing guests to meander freely and shop to their hearts’ content.


An Intimate Tuscan Experience

Our 300+ corporate friends, being hosted at Moonlight Studios will be treated to an Tuscan Panini Shop experience with bubbling cheeses, boozy fruit and pancetta just some of the ingredients that will be pressed tableside and enjoyed on our EC handmade foccacia.
