Amalfi: What We Ate

A family vacation to Amalfi was the centerpiece of my summer and I came home truly inspired by Italian food once again.  Everything we ate was bathed in the bright flavors of citrus which completely re-wired my brain for all future indulgences with pasta.  (I have forgotten all about red sauce.  Perhaps forever…) And then, don’t forget the briny shellfish, the peppery arugula, and the salty cured meats that punctuated so many of our meals.  (Consumed out of doors, overlooking the Italian Riviera, of course!  Bliss!)
