Intimate Housewarming

This summer is yours. It’s your time to be sweaty, to be honest, to be spontaneous, to be real.

Intimate. Dancing in your underwear, sitting for hours with an iced coffee, reading on the roof, blowing a kiss from your fire escape, sipping a frozen negroni, sticking your toe in an emerald pool, ebbing and flowing in the ocean waves whatever makes you feel alive, emboldened, enticed.

At TST, we’re all about celebrating the mood and right now, this instant, we’re into housewarmings. Sure, there’s the traditional ‘we just moved in’ celebration but let’s widen our vista a bit. Let’s think of a housewarming as a reintroduction to the space you’ve been living in the beginning of a new era.

Our checklist includes a pitch perfect playlist (Beyonce, Bettye Swann, D’angelo, Donna Summer, and k.d. lang to start it off). A tight knit group of your (40!) closest friends, espadrilles, a cotton sheet on a roof overlooking the park, summer flowers stuck in a St. Martin Pitcher, bubbly served out of the Umi Ice Bucket, frozen rosé served out of the Pippa Glassware, and charcuterie off the Maru Cutting Board.

This fiesta is a hi-lo mixture of elegance, friendship, laughter, spiritual awakening, summer equinox, emotional detox, and hearty festivus. We suggest giving yourself the next morning off.

We’re in the midst of planning our next housewarming, if only to get our imagination going and to test drive our favorite family summer recipes (linguini with clams, anyone?). Hurry back to TST if you need a helping – hand we love bringing your mood to life!
