Haute Tea

Brewed and beautiful, we love to host creative and quirky tea parties outside once the weather is warm. Our tea can be warm or cold~either by itself or enjoyed with a dash of spirits.

We’re not the only ones who have noticed the trending festivity around tea and cocktails in our Chicago area.

A tea party often becomes the perfect solution when one wants to entertain lightly and elegantly, and create a festive group of finger food items that guests can enjoy with a minimum of fuss.

The Asian cultures of China and India give us especially unique flavors, identities, and tea textures while also providing excellent opportunities for finger food delights.


For hosting a tea party, we found that our day at the Zen Garden at Wandering Tree Estate was a perfect location.

With an Asian inspired menu, we enjoy offering strolling guests small plates of potstickers, shumai and shrimp on black matte plates accompanied by a sake and tea based cocktail. To accompany, our beverage manager, Tom Sierra, recommends his signature Green Breeze: 2 oz Snowflake Sake, 1 oz fresh cucumber juice, 1 oz Match Green Tea Simple Syrup and .5oz Yuzu Juice.

For a unique non-alcoholic twist on a tea party, staying within the Asian context, Entertaining Company pivots toward South East Asia and has offered an Indian wedding after ceremony vegetarian tea menu that has been appreciated by all ages.
