Collaborative Bridal Fashion Shoot | Entertaining Company

As a company, we love vintage. We love earthy rustic and we also have a passion for luxe. Nothing better than bringing in heritage, nature and layering with the opulence of luxurious textures and colors.

When Kerrie Gallagher, planner at City Girl Weddings and Events called, and asked if ChicagoStyle Weddings Magazine could arrange a, “Earthy Bridal” photo shoot at my house, AD1917, which we also use for our EC private dining space, we were honored and excited! Chris Ocken was doing all the photography~ excited!

Kerrie explained that she was inspired to find models that were a “little bit non-traditional, smiling women who were happy in their own skin”.
“After all, it is one of the happiest days of a woman life, and I wanted our shoot to emulate fun as well.”

The dresses were selected by Kerrie from Jenny Yoo, Dame Coutour and Sarah Seven which are some of Kerrie’s favorites. “The dresses had flow and movement. This bride feels beautiful and has probably not tried on 50 dresses, but has fallen in love with her dress immediately, as she knows it’s her style.”

When asked who the perfect bride for this wedding style is, Kerrie answered, “The perfect bride for this kind of style is a woman who is a girl who is completely in love with life, not sweating the little stuff and enjoys her friends and family. Her style is always in style, she wears a contemporary version of a boho look, never fussy but always on point.

As a bride she has a point of view but taps into professionals who can guide her, she trusts collaboration and is overall a fun woman who wants her guests to enjoy right alongside her and her love. She’s a more earthy bride, someone who appreciates soft elements with a touch of the eccentric.”
