The Chicago Cultural Center is a city Landmark. Since its opening in 1897, the venue has been a reception site for countless Chicago mayors to welcome visiting presidents and royalty, foreign diplomats and community leaders to the city. There are four distinct spaces available for rental within the Cultural Center. The pièce de résistance, Preston Bradley Hall, houses the world’s largest Tiffany glass ceiling, a graceful dome arching over the hall. Smaller in size but equal in opulence is GAR Hall, a chandelier-adorned atrium with soaring walls and a coffered ceiling. Both of the halls and the rotunda feature stunning mosaics and ornate Renaissance columns. The final space, the Sidney R. Yates Gallery, is the biggest, spanning nearly half a city block. With ornate bronze balusters, a grand staircase (read: photo op!), and pink marble details, the gallery is a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, formal dinners, galas and cultural celebrations. The Chicago Cultural Center is conveniently located in the loop, offering breathtaking views of Millennium Park.
