Wintrust Banking Hall’s neoclassical facade stands just across the street from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago—two of the most recognizable structures of the city’s financial district. The historic banking hall was originally constructed in 1924 and completely renovated in 2015. Inside are the desks of some 600 Wintrust bankers, as well as a sweeping grand hall, complete with hellenistic columns, art deco paintings and striking chandeliers. The main floor of the hall is mezzanine-style—upper balconies and walkways afford guests panoramic views of the stately space. While the Grand Banking Hall is not suitable for weddings, religious ceremonies, political fundraisers or public events, it’s the perfect backdrop for networking functions, cocktail hours, company parties and celebrations, and other special events. Over the last several years, we’ve catered all of the listed event types and more! The Hall is only available to rent for nonprofit organizations who use Wintrust banking services.
