To Our Clients, Collaborators, and Friends,

We know that COVID-19 is on many people’s minds, and we wanted to share how our business is taking precautionary and proactive measures to address this public health situation. The health and safety of our community is of the utmost importance to us.

Our former President, Barack Obama, said it best on Twitter: “Let’s stay calm, listen to the experts, and follow the science.”

The catering and restaurant industries are held to the highest standards in terms of regulation and sanitation – so we are already in the swing of rigorous best practices and we have also increased the frequency of our already stringent cleaning and sanitation procedures onsite and off-site.

Having said that, here’s what EC is doing to protect our staff, clients, collaborators, and events:

  1. No employees showing any signs of sickness will be allowed to work events.
  2. Employees showing signs of sickness on-site will be sent home immediately.
  3. Employees are discouraged from shaking hands.
  4. Gloves will be worn by staff during set up of flatware, glassware, bar glassware and during bar service.
  5. We will continue to uphold strict ServSafe requirements as pertains to cleaning kitchen equipment and food preparation.
  6. Frequent hand washing will be required before, after, and during shifts.
  7. We will provide additional hand sanitizer in the EC kitchen, and on-site at all events for clients + staff.

If there’s anything else we can do to give you peace of mind, please let us know. Stay safe and Happy Spring.Warmly,

xoxo,
The Entertaining Company Team
