Our Top Three Snack Break Worthy Treats

1: Oven-Baked Chips

Goodbye unhealthy snacks from the vending machine and hello to vitamin rich snack breaks that will keep the body fueled throughout the day!  As the summer months come to an end, we love the idea of making those fresh vegetables last longer by creating the perfect chip for seasonal hummus.  Not all chips have to be potato based; in fact some of our personal favorites consist of beets, carrots, and kale with a great spiced seasoning or even a small pint of salt.  Once these veggie chips are baked, find a hummus that you love and you’re ready to snack smarter at your desk.

2: Popcorn

Another snack break worthy treat that is extremely easy to make and prepare snack size portions of is popcorn, but not just any popcorn.  Recently, we came across a delicious caramel corn recipe that we cannot get enough of; it combines shredded coconut, curry flakes and a sweet caramel corn creating the most addictive office snack ever!

3: Crackers and Gourmet Cheeses

Lastly, this snack is perfect for those looking for a healthy yet delicious treat to eat at their desk or in the classroom. Snacking doesn’t have to be boring when you’re living a busy life. The pairing of our olive crackers and gourmet cheeses, or seasonal fruit spread can be a great to-go pack in the perfect snack size portion to eat wherever you are.  We love the idea of being able to keep snacks low in calories and carbs to help us stick to our summer diets as the colder months approach us!
